The final sketch is very rough for this picture. I have decided some proportions and how the landscape will be compressed horizontally and cut. The clouds will be planned when the trees are painted and I see what balance is needed in the painting. The foreground will also relate to other parts of the painting and cannot be planned in detail yet.
